Robert Schumacher, the main protagonist, is a pen name. He is real and the stories are all true, but there are actually three authors who collaborated to create this memoir of “Bob.” The authors have owned multiple businesses together. On several occasions they were employed by the same construction & real estate companies. At times, they attended the same churches, buried friends and relatives, and still never had a real argument. They might disagree many times every day but learned to make decisions and move on. All have been in construction and real estate for most of their lives. Their working years were based in northern Illinois, near Chicago, while traveling extensively and working across the USA. Their combined years of experience in these industries is over 150.
